Getting your Micro 431 setup and running, with speed and simplicity in mind.
Charging Your Device
Charge the tracker with the provided USB-C cable. If the tracker is on, you will see a blinking red LED light over the battery indicator while charging. If this is powered off before charging, it will power on and vibrate when plugged in, you will then see blinking red and blue LED lights. To turn on the tracker, press and hold the power button on the side, you will see all lights and it will vibrate.
When powering down the device, you will see a solid red LED light above the battery indicator and it will vibrate when successfully powered down.

GPS Tracking
When first turned on after charging, allow a few minutes to find a signal to report your location. Place it in your window or take it outside to get a clear view of the sky for this initial report.
The Micro 431 reports every minute when moving, every 6 hours when stationary, and reports a wifi fix every 15 minutes. Information reports are sent every 15 minutes.
The tracker can report its position in two ways: a precise GPS location and an approximate location based on nearby cell towers.
An approximate location would be issued if the device isn’t able to get a clear signal to report, isn’t powered on, or has been stationary for a period of time. The device would report its location based on nearby cell tower positions, these positions are indicated by a white pin and a large blue circle showing the approximate location. If the device cannot get a clear signal for a standard GPS report because it is in a garage, for instance, it would often issue a cell fix as a result.
What Reporting Looks Like
By default, the Micro 431 reports every 30 seconds.
Reporting modes can be changed by going to the Commands tab at the bottom of the screen and selecting New.
A. 24hrs of tracking at 30-second reporting

B. 30 second reporting

C. Cell fix

Troubleshooting
Micro 431 stopped tracking
Either the Micro 431 is powered off or it may have moved into an area of limited 4G cell coverage.
Micro 431 vibrates when pressing the center button
The center button is an SOS button. When pressed, the tracker will vibrate, and it will cause the tracker to report a position on your tracking map (tracker must be connected to the cell network to update location).
Micro 431 is not showing its exact location
Either the Micro 431 is indoors where it cannot get a strong GPS signal or it is not set to report frequent GPS positions (for example, every 30 seconds, every 1 hour, every 2 hours). To change reporting frequencies, go to the Commands tab and press New to select a new mode.
By default, Micro 431 reports every 30 seconds when moving. Once the device reports again, it will accept the new command to report at different intervals—what the reporting is set to will remain until it is due to report and accepts the new commands.
It will begin reporting GPS positions as soon as it moves outside again or is due to report.
