Transferring ownership of your Logistimatics tracker is a crucial process when the device is being sold, gifted, or assigned to another person. This guide will walk you through the steps to ensure a secure and seamless transfer, enabling uninterrupted tracking services for the new owner.
Steps to Change Ownership:
Initiate the Transfer
If you're the current owner, send an email or support ticket to our Support Team from the email associated with your account. Include the tracker's serial number and a statement authorizing the new owner's email to take control of the tracker.
For Non-Logistimatics Users
If the new owner does not have a Logistimatics account, follow the steps above, and also include a consent email from the original account email. The new owner can then activate the tracker with their email on the Logistimatics Activation page.
Important Notes:
The new owner will be responsible for subscription billing.
Transfer requests can be processed during normal business hours (9 AM to 5 PM Eastern, Mon-Fri). Please allow for additional processing time for requests made outside these hours.
