Turning your tracker on
Charge the tracker with the provided USB cable plugged into the wall charger.
The power button is located underneath the battery power display. Press and hold the button to turn tracker on. To turn off, press and hold the button for 3 seconds. To confirm that the tracker on, quickly press the power button. If the tracker is on, the battery display will light up.
Battery
Your tracker’s battery should last for 3 to 4 weeks on a full charge. It will be less if the car is driven for more than 2 hours a day. It can also be less if you are in an area of weak 2G cell coverage. This is the 2G coverage map: https://goo.gl/KMHkQu
You will get an alert when the battery is running low (less than 20%).

Placement
Place in glove compartment, under seat, or attach to metal surface under car/inside rear bumper.
Do not place in trunk of car. It can’t get a signal when surrounded by metal. The tracker has a powerful magnet and can be attached to any metal surface. Also included is a rubberized metal plate with adhesive tape. This is provided in case you want to mount your tracker without a metallic surface.
Tamper button
The spring loaded button on the bottom can alert you when the device is removed. It will then go into alert mode which you can cancel by texting cancel# to the tracker. This mode is off by default. See the command list for how to enable it.
Live audio
Your tracker has a phone number. When you activate your tracker, you will receive a phone number that you can call or send text messages to. If your tracker rings a couple of times and hangs up on you, you have not set the SOS number properly.
In order to use the live audio functions on your tracker, you need to set your cell phone number as the authorized number (this is called setting the SOS number). Set the SOS number with the commands described below.
Long term tracking (sleep mode)
Your tracker can go to sleep for long periods of time, wake up, transmit its location, and go back to sleep. While it is asleep, it will not report or respond to commands unless you trigger the tamper button. In addition, if the tracker is moved while sleeping you won’t see its position update until the next scheduled wake time.
