SmartLabel doesn't use GPS or cellular networks. It uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to broadcast its location through a crowdsourced network of everyday devices.
The label continuously emits a low-power Bluetooth signal as your package moves along the shipping route.
Any iPhone or Android device with Find My or Find My Device enabled automatically picks up the signal, without the device owner knowing or doing anything.
The smartphone securely and anonymously passes the SmartLabel's location to the Logistimatics platform using its own internet connection.
