How does a NanoGuard GPS tracker work?
NanoGuard uses GPS/LTE technology and connects to the best available mobile network - just like a phone - to provide location data everywhere your pet goes. GPS trackers work by getting their location from GPS satellites and reporting that location back to the cell network. Our trackers work all over the world and will track anywhere there is cellular service.

What is the range of the NanoGuard GPS tracker?
Virtually unlimited. You can track any place where there is cellular service. Our GPS trackers are not limited by range (like some Bluetooth tracking products).

Will the NanoGuard tracker fit my pet?
Most likely, yes. NanoGuard is Logistimatics’ smallest-profile tracking device, measuring 1.57in x 1.87in x .62in. It weighs as much as a few quarters, or about 35 small paper clips. While there's no pet side restriction, we recommend it for pets that weigh 10 lbs or more.

How do I attach the NanoGuard tracker to my pet’s collar or harness?
- Put the keychain and clip through the loop, then pull tight to secure.
- Slide the device into the holster clip provided.
- Take the spiral metal keyring and attach to pet's tag loop on their collar or harness.
- Once secured, clip the holster onto the collar or harness so that it’s not prone to un-clipping. This may take some practice to find the right positioning. Some of our customers zip-tie the device’s clip to the collar for extra security, though this is entirely optional.
- Press and hold the power button on the side of the device to turn it on.
- Log-in to the website or into the app, and set the desired reporting frequency for the device.
- Charge the device, according to its reporting frequency:
- 60s when moving: Charge every 3 days
- Every 15 Minutes: Charge every 5 days
- Every Hour: Charge each week
- Every 24 Hours: Charge after 2 weeks

Why do I need a subscription and what plans are available?
NanoGuard trackers have a built-in SIM card (like your phone) that uses mobile networks to send you location insights. All the fees for this service, plus our proprietary app and platform, are included within your subscription. That way, you get to enjoy unlimited tracking worldwide.
We offer an annual prepayment or a month-to-month payment option. If you choose the month-to-month plan, you can stop service in that monthly time-period. If you choose our annual prepayment plan, you can save a bundle (40%). -
